EASYKART TROPHY

PRESENTATION OF THE EUROPEAN EASYKART CHAMPIONSHIP

FROM AUGUST 22nd TO THE 24th, THE POZNAN (POLAND) RACE TRACK WILL HOST THE FIRST EUROPEAN GRAND FINALS: THE EVENT THAT WILL AWARD THE BIREL CONTINENTAL TITLE IN A SINGLE TRIAL.

Birel, promoter of the Easykart International Trophy introduces an important new development regarding its successful brand: the 1st edition of the European championship.

The rally will take place in Poland on the beautiful Poznan race track, a modern track for autos where a fast kart track, 1480 meters long by 12 meters wide, was also made.

The date chosen for this important event is the weekend of August 24th, in order to encourage the presence of the youth classes due to the summer school holiday.

The track is located in a large park and borders on the airport, which makes transit easy for foreign drivers.

The rally will join the other two single trial finals of the Easykart Trophy that will take place in Italy: the Italian championship on October 5th, reserved for drivers with FIK licenses and the World Final on October 21st on the Jesolo racetrack, where the best drivers from the 15 states in which the Trophy is run will participate.

The European Championship at Poznan will be organized by the Polish Federation (PZM) and the Poznan Automobile Club.

The race weekend will take place over three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), but free trial run shifts are planned from Tuesday through Thursday for drivers who would like to get acquainted with the track in advance.

The categories admitted will be the 60cc, 100cc, the 125 Light and Heavy that will run together (but with distinct classifications), and the 125 Shifter.

All pilots from the European states in which the Trophy is run may participate in the race with no limitations; in fact, there is no selection criteria defined in any category.
