EASYKART EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP
ALL THE INFORMATION FOR TEAMS AND DRIVERS
THE POLISH FEDERATION (PZM) TOGETHER WITH BIREL IS DEFINING THE LAST DETAILS FOR THE IMPORTANT CONTINENTAL EVENT.
 The Organization of the 1st European Easykart Championship, managed by the PZM, is working hard for the race that will assign the continental title to each Easykart category the next 24th of August.
Poznan racetrack will open from Tuesday 19th of August: for all the drivers it will be possible to practice until Thursday, always in the afternoon, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Instead, since Friday the official program of the event will begin with a whole day of free practice, that will be included in the Entry Fee. On Saturday there will be another two turns of free practice, then in the afternoon the qualifying practice.
A maximum of 90 drivers will be admitted in the 60cc category, so there will be 3 Finals, as the capacity of the racetrack is 34 karts. After the qualifying practice, the first 28 drivers will pass directly to the European Final, from the 29th to the 56th will run off the Final “B”, and from the 57th on the Final “C”.
In the Finals “C” and “B” the first 6 drivers will pass to the next Final.
The same rule will be applied to the 100cc category, where there will be admitted a maximum of 60 drivers, whereas the 125cc Light, Heavy and Shifter will run off a single Final.
It has also been confirmed in these days the presence of the program 50cc Training, from Friday to Sunday. At this event drivers from all over Europe will take part, from Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus, England, Russia and, of course, Poland that will hold the record of drivers. But also Italy will be represented by more than 30 drivers divided in all the classes. In order to favour the Organization, Birel asks all the drivers interested in participating to send their pre-registration simply by e-mail or fax to their national representative (EASYKART Russia, EASYKART UK, EASYKART Germany, etc…).
Instead, the official registration for the event will open on Monday the 7th of July and close on Friday the 18th of July at 6:00 p.m. in this case the Entry Form must be sent directly to the Polish Federation (it is advisable to send a copy also to Birel at the fax nr. 0039.039.462333).
From the logistic point of view, it will be possible to stay with the camper in the racetrack’s pine forest, or reach the racetrack by plane or by car, and then avail of the TAXI service for the Hotel, efficient and economical. In order to assure more information on the event, Birel has created an Organizational Secretariat at the nr. 0039.039.2145204.
Useful Information
- Drivers Pre-Registration must be communicated to the importers: via fax, e-mail, or during the races in Cervia and Lonato in Italy within the 5th of July.
- Registrations: opening Monday 7th of July – Closure Friday 18th of July h. 6:00 p.m. The Entry Form must be sent at PZM via fax at the nr. 0049.22.8487777
- Entry Fee: Euro 300,00 (N° 1 set of tyres for the race and Friday’s free practice included).
- Free Practice Ticket: Euro 25,00 – from Tuesday to Thursday (only in the afternoon, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
- Tyres: For the race N° 1 set of slick checked with the system of tyres’ parc fermé. In case of rain just N° 1 set of RAIN available by the dealers (not given by the Organizer) and free tyres for free practice.
- Technical Assistance and Transport: This service will be offered by many teams that are preparing the transfer. For further information it is advisable to contact directly the teams. The teams that have agreed to participate are, among the others, FOG Competition, EMILIA KART, TRT by TURRIZIANI, SPEED KART, PAK TEAM, FG RACING.
