THE EASYKART DRIVER PROGRAM

Contracts

Contract with Birel Racing Sector

Contractual management relating to drivers bound to Birel during international programmes, depends on Birel Motorsport, the racing sector of the firm (they have their own autonomous management). Birel Motorsport has, under contract, an examiner and 6 official drivers who are directly involved with Cik International classes.

Since this year, besides the cited drivers, there are also the drivers belonging to the Easykart Driver Program, who form part of Birel Motorsport. This is because the technical material (frame, spare parts, engines and tyres) for the drivers from the programme are managed directly by the Birel Racing sector who in turn, sub-lets it to an external Team to which are entrusted the competing drivers. Moreover, Birel Motorsport can use drivers from the programme for other tests and competitions in respect to those planned at the start of the season, besides establishing the yearly development of each single driver's programme. The Birel Racing sector's competence extends itself to all technical problems. The stipulated contracts are of a two year duration and an option in favour of the said Birel Motorsport for an extension of the same agreement. Birel Motorsport can also emit options concerning drivers in the Easykart Trophy: a panel of influential observers will identify the candidates who will have a 12 month option in view to develop an agreement under contract.

Contract with Birel Spa

All drivers under contract to Birel Motorsport in context with the Easykart Driver Program project, undersign an agreement with Birel SpA, whereby they agree to place on their track suit, for the entire duration of their karting career, the Eastkart Driver Program Logo. Such consent by the drivers guarantees technical materials and economic contributions for Birel Motorsport, besides other services from press offices and general co-ordination managed by Birel Spa. The Drivers also consent to maintaining the logo even after an eventual dissolution of the Contract with Birel Motorsport.

The objective of this initiative is to put into circulation in the ambit of international karting, over a few years, drivers from the Easykart Trophy who, therefore, would assume an ulterior authoritative objective in the context of training facilities dedicated to young people. The initiative has clear marketing focus and guarantees an elevated value when added to the investment sustained in favour of the drivers listed in the programme. All drivers under contract are supplied with outfits by Birel and each article carries the logo. The same logo will also be worn in competitions by pilots who are under option, but at a contractual level. In the case where the option is not exercised, the undertaking of the logo placed on the track suit will be annulled.
