THE EASYKART DRIVER PROGRAM

The characteristics of the regulation have given, moreover, the Easykart 100 the nomination of being an excellent school: the comparison in terms of technical comparatives and the limited possibilities to intervene in terms of equipment have been found to be successful.

The drivers, in fact, emerge through their own merit, learning to drive the kart to the limit even if the equipment cannot be optimised by technical accessories which differ from those of the series. This characteristic which, on reaching the next categories, is capable of using to the best advantage all the technical options allowed.

Knowing that a highly instructive programme has been compiled has given Birel the desire to create step 2 of the project, or to support the more valid drivers coming from the 60cc and 100cc categories on their upward move to international classes. Such a move happens between the ages of 13 and 14, usually after two seasons in the Easykart 100.

The initiative has been termed "Easykart Driver Program" and consists of placing under contract 7 to 8 drivers each year to carry out an agonistic programme with the Birel colours during the international categories.

The contracts will be biennial with a further option in favour of Birel for a 3rd year. During the course of the first season's contract, the drivers will be supported by an external Birel Team with whom they will confront the agonistic programme established in agreement with Birel, who will supply the chosen drivers with important technical material and economical advantages.

Advancement in the career of single pilots depends on the results obtained, with the possibility of the best of them entering into the Birel Racing sector. Support foreseen under the contract is not just of a technical and economical value: the drivers bound by the project "Easykart Driver Programme", are, in fact, supported by press office activity, with programmes for physical and psychological preparation, and from a contractual consultancy point of view in the management of personal sponsors.

On becoming part of the "Easykart Driver Program", each driver commits to undersigning an agreement relating to the running of the agonistic programme with Birel Motorsport, besides a contract with Birel SpA for which the same driver undertakes to wear the 'logo' which identifies the project on his track suit for the entire duration of his karting career. This also applies if he should, in the future, move to another firm. Also for the drivers under contract, the programme foresees a series of option contracts prepared for the more interested drivers who are still engaged in the Easykart Trophy of the 60 and 100 Class, with which they share the training choices,
besides supporting them in terms of perception.
