EUROPEAN EASYKART CHAMPIONSHIP PRESENTED

Pilots from all over Europe will meet up in Poland for the 60, 100, 125 Light, Heavy and Shifter single race title challenge

ENTRY FORM | REGULATION short time

PZM, the Polish Karting Federation, officially presented the 3rd   edition of Easykart European Championship in the last weeks. The event will be held over the 1st August weekend at the stunning Polish circuit of Stary Kisielin, a fast exciting track featuring several steep parabolic bends.
It is the latest and safest facility realized in Poland, completed by a paddock offering all the services needed for an international competitive weekend.
Almost 150 drivers, from all the European countries racing a championship with the single brand promoted by Birel, will fight for the prestigious continental title. The Polish drivers will take on the lion share, yet the Italian team will as usual be large and competitive.
The same may be said about the Russians: their junior Easykart classes have gained a reputation as best breeding ground over the last five seasons. Also the Czech Republic and Austria will be in the spotlight with over 20 drivers each on starting line. England will race too, with an all-Easykart Driver Program team: McKenzie, Dehavillande and Stowell.
Eligible candidates will include all Easykart categories and all European pilots holding a national licence. Free practice for the Final is scheduled on Thursday and Friday, while Saturday and Sunday will be dedicated to the official race format. Timed practice will take place on day one, along with two qualification legs, while Sunday morning will be devoted to the "B" Final for 60 and to all the European Finals.
Format wise, it must be stressed that starting grid for the Finals will be drawn up according to penalties given during timed practice and the two legs.
As usual Birel will be in charge of service and spare parts, and several Italian teams are making arrangements to offer a service package including kart transfer from Italy. Also the technical commissioner pool will go international, including 2 Italian representatives and an English one. Pilots and teams must send their application to PZM within 19 July.

Enrolment fee is Euro 320.00, inclusive of Friday free practice (track ticket for Thursday Euro 35.00) and of a set of racing tyres.

For further information on the event please contact Birel Secretariat on +39.039.2145204.
