EASYKART: THE ADJUSTMENTS

LET’S TAKE AN IN-DEPTH LOOK AT THE IDEAL SET-UP AND THE MAIN ADJUSTMENTS FOR ALL THE DRIVERS OF THE SUCCESSFUL EASYKART SERIES.

Easykart is Birel’s promotional programme in over 15 countries around the world. And in the next few years, the countries and national federations seeking to take up Easykart are bound to grow. In this article, we would like to take an in-depth look at the issues connected with the set-up and the adjustments in the classes 60-100 and 125, which to date boast over 1000 drivers worldwide. Every kart is a machine containing a great amount of technology and thanks to several adjustment options it can be geared to best adapt to the driver’s peculiarities and above all to the track conditions. All models of the range are provided with a standard set-up enabling even beginners to enter the track and attain excellent performances right away. However, once the experience grows, the set-up of any Easykart can be improved by acting on several fronts. All chassis are highly formative and respond very well to adjustments. While the driver is improving his/her driving style, this aspect is as important as speed. Being able to determine one’s best set-up can make the difference in a Trophy where all the drivers run with the same material. It’s up to the driver to do better than others by being fast and physically trained, but also by having the ability to determine the best possible set-up. In this column, to make it easier, we have subdivided the possible variations into 60cc, and 100cc-125cc karts, which use the same chassis, highlighting the optimum set-up that ensures an excellent arrangement in almost any situation.
