EASYKART:
THE ADJUSTMENTS |
GENERAL SUGGESTIONS FOR DRIVING
The Easykart categories use “hard”-compound
tyres thus favouring neat and precise driving. Generally
speaking, stressing the vehicle with borderline braking
and driving along bends too fast losing grip and making
the kart skid, is generally behaviour that does not pay
off in terms of time. When braking, we recommend you not
delay the release to much: by abruptly reducing speed the
number of revolutions drops exceedingly low, which in turn
penalizes the entire following straight. Furthermore, violent
braking does not make it possible to follow the ideal line
and prejudices the effectiveness of the tyres much faster.
Instead, we recommend you brake within limits and speed
up as early as possible always keeping the kart along the
ideal running line and making use of the entire the track:
on entering the bend, you have to brake along the outer
line, then take a tight line on the apex and power up as
soon as you are exiting while using the full width of the
track.
