PZM (POLISH KARTING FEDERATION) PRESENTS THE FINAL THAT WILL AWARD THE CONTINENTAL TITLE OF 2009
The competition will be host by the Miedziana Góra track, characterized by a very fast stretch got form the automobile circuit. 150 pilots from 10 different European countries are expected.
After the great success of the 2008 edition, run on Poznan circuit in Poland, the European Final for the mono label Easykart is back. Once again Poland, in particular the circuit of Miedziana Góra, will be the host of the event which will award the prestigious continental laurel for all the EASYKART classes next 22nd August. PZM, the Polish Federation which manages all the engine sports, and karting too, had adopted for years all the EASYKART classes as national categories and is ready also for the 2009 edition of the European Final to become a machine of the very first level. This event will be an international meeting of high importance and an occasion that can not be missed for all the pilots who want to compete in this prestigious contest. It will be above all a great occasion for the youngest, who can live an important experience for their own career. The choice of the end of August also allows the children not to miss school and the adults not to miss days of work and could be seen as an amazing holiday with the whole family. The track of Miedziana Góra is only 130 km far from Warsaw. The competition week end will last from Thursday to Saturday, when the Final will be competed, so that Sunday could be used for the come back or a day of holiday. The free trials (optional) will be made only on Tuesday and Wednesday before the race. A lot of Polish pilots will attend this event as well as Italians, Russians, Hungarians and Czechs. Last year Polish pilots won nothing because the European titles went to the Russian Sitnikov in 60cc, to the Czech Maxa in 100cc, to the Italian Zanoni in Shifter and again to Russian Kramarsky and Deltsov in 125 Light and Heavy. The participation to the race is free because the Federation did not ask for a selection so all the pilots who want to take part in it can do it leaving aside their own results in the first part of the season. Subscriptions will open on the 1st of July and will close on the 17th of the same month. All the categories will be admitted: 50 Training, 60cc, 100cc, 125 Light, 125 Heavy and 125 Shifter. Subscription sheets will be available from the 1st of July on all Easykart web sites of the European countries and will have to be send via fax to the PZM, with the copy of credit transfer of the subscription card. There will be a special regulation approved by PZM, so all the pilots are please to read it. Useful information:
- The circuit : the track is over 1200 meters long and it is characterized by a very fast stretch got from the starting back straight and from the last fast big bend of the car track, and by 700 meters of a very technical development design especially for karts, joint with the main circuit. It all ends up into a very fast track but high technical as well. High speeds are easily reached so wakes are very important as well as the slower stretch in which only finding the right balance of the frame would make the difference. Box zone is very functional and has terraces from where all the track can be seen as well as the Race Direction, Briefing Hall and a restaurant. The system is equipped with a camper area and, paying, some closed boxes will be available. - The program: during Tuesday the 18th and Wednesday the 19th the track will be available for sessions of free tests (30 euro a day). The competition program, included in the subscription payment, will start on Thursday when the first free trials will be disputed. Friday will be dedicated to free tests and tires tests while during the afternoon there will be qualifications. On Saturday the manifestation will end with the Finals.
