It has officially started, the countdown to the 7th edition of the Easykart International Final, the Birel promotional trophy present in 18 Nations and on three continents. The event will be hosted for the 2nd time on the Jesolo track in Italy from October 16th through the 19th, an ideal choice to optimize the logistic support that the Lissone “house” will furnish to over 120 drivers coming from the American continent and Japan.
The Veneto track, moreover, is convenient for all of the drivers from Central and Eastern Europe where the Easykart Trophy is deeply rooted with success. The categories in play will be the 60cc (for drivers 7-12 years of age), the 100cc (drivers from 11 to 16 years of age) and the 125cc Light, Heavy and Shifter Classes for those over 15 along with the 50 training programme that will see children aged 6 to 9 involved in a non-competitive promotional event. The selection of the over 250 drivers that will compete at Jesolo is entering the final phase with the definition of the results of the individual National Championships that will admit around 20 drivers per category to the International Final. In this sense, the Nations most represented, besides Italy, will be Russia, Poland, Venezuela and the USA.
A high level and very spectacular race can be expected with a very uncertain forecast. The event programme will take place over 4 days with free trials during the day on Thursday and Friday, the qualifiers on Saturday and the International Final during the day on Sunday, October 19.
The organizational machine provided by Birel in concert with the Italian Sports Authority is working in a tight rhythm to put together a prestigious event in line with the great success of the previous editions. In first place from the sporting and technical point of view, the technical controls will be entrusted to a staff of four from the Italian Federation along with two foreign delegates from Poland and England.
The race sports management, on the other hand, will be taken care of by a sports Commission that will use a video system to control the staring procedures along with arranging for authoritative and prepared Track Commissioners from the Monza autodrome along the track. There is also a Hospitality area provided for with more than 300 mq for the Race Office, briefings and areas dedicated to the sponsors.
The Birel group, moreover, has provided for a massive promotional programme that will include a television production with more than 10 cameras, offering the possibility of following the race on the big screen on the track, and over 50 accredited journalists from throughout the world. Among them are expected the National Television stations from Venezuela, Poland and Russia while in Italy reports on the event are expected on Odeon TV and Nuvolari.
Moreover, the Birel Press Office will produce a Magazine completely dedicated to the event that will be a great souvenir for the drivers and sponsors. Obviously all of the observers from the Birel racing department will be in action who, at the end of the season, will select some of the most worthy young drivers from the 60cc and 100cc classes to introduce to the Easykart Driver Program project. All of the organizational details of the event are reported in the summary regulations and on the various Trophy National websites; there is also an Organizational Office already active that will give all the necessary information at 039.2145204 and 348.1501476.
