COLLECTIVE EASYKART TESTS

EASYKART CIRCUS FIRST COLLECTIVE TEST SESSION WILL TAKE PLACE IN OTTOBIANO NEXT 15TH FEBRUARY. CERVIA'S SESSION, INSTEAD, HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Birel has finalized the details for the first collective test session which, in contrast with what previously announced, will take place in Ottobiano (Pavia) on Sunday 15th  February.
The first session, which was scheduled in Cervia, was in fact postponed due to logistic problems which came up during the planning of Birel racing department engagements. At any rate, the Romagna track will be available for ordinary free practice sessions both on Saturday 31st January and Sunday 1st February.
The collective test format, which includes Birel's presence and a track exclusively dedicated to Easykart categories, will hence make its debut next 15th February in Ottobiano.
Set practice turns have been arranged for 50cc, 60cc, 100cc and 125cc classes, from 9:00 am. to 4:45 pm., and a suitable number of race officials and medical staff will be on the track. In addition, the organization has arranged both transponder timing service and the presence of Birel staff, with the spare part and tyres truck as well as at the administrative office for 2009 membership drive.
This new format will then been presented again on other occasions throughout the season, especially on the eve of the National and International Finals, which will  take place respectively in Pomposa and Siena. Test fee will be only € 45.00, including all the above mentioned services, as Marco Angeletti, from Birel marketing department, points out:  "Our hope is that numerous teams and pilots will seize this opportunity by participating to the collective tests.
In fact, the cost of the exclusive use of the track and of the services provided can be covered only if a significant number of pilots enrol, if this is not the case, it will be difficult to maintain the continuity of this format.
Advantages are plentiful: from the opportunity of practicing on a track coated with the only rubber employed for the trophy, to true head-to-head  with competitors of the same category thanks to the timing system, just not to mention the practice turns reserved to 50 and 60 classes, which would usually be relegated to the sole lunch break.
And, in addition, also the presence of the sponsoring service company. So, plenty of reasons to not miss it."
