EASYKART 50 ARRIVES IN THE UK WITH AN ITALIAN INCENTIVE!

Easykart UK are to introduce the Easy 50 (Bambino) to their Championship for the remainder of 2009.
The Easykart 50 is priced at £995.00 + VAT and is ready to drive – just add fuel. The format for the Easy 50 will be exclusively for drivers who purchase an Easykart 50 and are aged from 5 years to 8 years.
These young drivers can participate in time trials on the Saturday test day at Easykart rounds from 9.00am til 11.00am.
The format will include safety check of the kart, track walk, familiarisation laps behind a pace kart before sessioned time trials will be held with a limited number of karts on track at a time.
Each driver will receive a participation medal and a print out of the times. Neck braces for the drivers will be compulsory as well as evidence that the driver has attended a UK Bambino school and is at a competent level.
Easykart 50 has run in Italy for last two years and demonstration time trials are held during the World Finals in Italy every year. Easy UK boss Andy Cox will monitor the easy 50 drivers through the remainder of the season and one lucky driver will win a free drive in the World Finals in Siena in October.
“We hope to start at our first Easy 50 event at Llandow on the 25th April. The idea is to give these youngsters a list of events o follow at different tracks. This way they will feel part of something and hopefully when they are 8 they can progress to the Easykart 60. I will be looking for a driver with good ability and who laps consistently plus a driver that prepares his or her kart with careful presentation in mind.
All these attributes are important in karting, if a driver can start learning at 5yrs old imagine what a driver they could be in the future!” The minimum entry for the event to be staged is 6 drivers.
