EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE EASYKART SEASON

3. ABSTRACT OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS

The race Format will be the same as provided for by the Easykart International Rules and Regulations, with application of the specific provisions for 2-day events and for International competitions. These are the main aspects of the event:

  • Each admitted category will run two sessions of timed trials of 15’ on Saturday afternoon
  • For the Races, the capacity of the track is increased from 28 to 34 drivers (International regulation)
  • At the end of the timed trials, the first 28 drivers will qualify for the International Finals. The other drivers will take part in the B and C Finals, where provided for. Unlike usual regulations, the first 6 drivers of the C Finals will be admitted to the B Finals and the first 6 drivers of the B Finals will be admitted to the International Finals on Sunday afternoon.
  • The two sessions of timed trials will take place on the afternoon of Saturday the 22nd of October, while the C and B Finals will take place on the morning of Sunday the 23rd of October, followed by the International Finals of each category in the afternoon.
  • The warm-up is scheduled, for all categories, on Sunday morning.
  • Each driver will be allowed to “punch” and use only one set of tyres. Within the the warm-up, drivers will be allowed to use a different set of tyres from that used in the event.
  • The Italian National Titles will be awarded based on the placing of the racing drivers with a Fik Licence, qualified according to the current regulations (National Ranking). In brief, two separate rankings will be drawn up for the International Finals. The title of Italian National Champion will be awarded to the best placed driver with Italian Fik licence All Italian drivers taking part in the race will also compete for the International Title.
  • Attendance to the Briefing is compulsory for all drivers (signature will be requested)
  • Attendance to the presentation ceremony in race outfit, helmet included, is compulsory.
  • Attendance to the award ceremony is compulsory for the prize-awarded drivers.
  • For the International Finals, the first five drivers of each race will be awarded a prize, with the exclusion of the A Final in the 60cc class, where the first 10 drivers will be awarded a prize.
  • For the National Finals, the five best-placed drivers in each race will be awarded a prize, with the exclusion of the A Final of the 60cc class, where prizes will be awarded to the 10 best-placed drivers.
  • All Prize Awarding ceremonies will include both Official Prizes of Honour and prizes in the form of materials supplied by the Sponsors.
  • All competitors will receive a souvenir gift of the event from the Organization.
  • We formally announce that the official Awarding Ceremonies for the Italian Area Championships 2005 will be held at the Hospitality in the paddock on Saturday the 22nd of October. The first 10 best-placed drivers in each class will be awarded a prize.
  • As a partial exception to the existing Technical provisions, the use of Freeline Spark Plugs, installed as originally provided with a spacer, will be mandatory during the whole event. The new spark plugs are available from any Birel Licensee, and during the event also at the spare parts booth, at the cost of 10.00 Euros (VAT included).
